About Us
Lies. Lies. And more lies.
They’re everywhere today.
unREVISE was founded in February 2024 because we were tired of seeing so much misinformation and disinformation in the news and in historical narratives. We were especially upset by states that started revising and denying black history in schools and in seeing how countries use propaganda and false information to justify their violence against innocent people.
Unfortunately, so much incorrect information has become embedded in people’s thinking that it will take a massive effort to overcome the problem. We have no illusions that the task will be easy or that success will come quickly.
However, we know that we must start now to at least begin to make a dent.
Unfortunately, false information is dangerous and costly. It can result in injustice and oppression – or can be used as an excuse for it. We must therefore counter it as much as possible.
unREVISE is our small effort to do so.
unREVISE is dedicated to being bold, honest and independent. We don’t care about the news and history just for the sake of knowledge but rather to encourage and inspire people to contribute to positive change in the world.
We rely on our donors to allow us to remain independent. Will you join us?
Even if you can’t contribute financially, please join us in spirit. You can help us grow and make a difference by reading unREVISE and telling others about us. We have to be in this together.

Full Disclosure
Our perspective on the news and history falls more on the progressive end of the spectrum and is far from the Conservative, Republican, MAGA, Fascist and Nazi side.
You should expect that our perspective will usually be on the side of the oppressed rather than the oppressor, the weak rather than the powerful. Think Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky, and Norman Finkelstein.
This is not because we are biased but rather because with education, critical thinking and observation, we believe this perspective is more often closer to the truth.
